Set: 304
Derby suburban triple set 304 seen at Widney Manor with a Leamington service in early August 1964. DMBS 50059 leads, presumably with 59004 + 50104. The set would become TY504 and then TS504, retaining the same vehicles until 1983 when Class 127 TSL 59610 replaced 59004 as a means of reducing the number of vehicles containing asbestos. Tyseley-based Derby suburban set TY515 (presumably 50050 + 59015 + 51143) arrives into Widney Manor station during 1969. It is displaying "Special" on the destination blind. Michael Mensing.

At Widney Manor in mid-1969 is a three-car Derby suburban DMU, displaying "Special" on the destination blind. The three vehicles are presumably 50097 + 59001 + 50057. Michael Mensing.

Set: TY540
Class 116 DMU set TY540 at Widney Manor in spring 1974. DMS M50085 is closest, the other two are presumably 59029 + 50832. All three had spend their first few years at Cardiff before moving to Tyseley in November 1964. Michael Mensing.
